- What personal data we collect, and why we collect it
We collect information about you during your visit, when you participate in comments or fill out forms, and the checkout process on our store.
The inclusion of any products or services on the Site at a particular time does not imply or warrant that these products or services will be available at any time. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
- What we collect and store
While you visit our site, we’ll track:
- Products and pages you’ve viewed
- Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping.
- Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!
We’ll also use cookies to keep track of your visit and cart contents while you’re browsing our site.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.
If you choose to store payment information, by design, your credit card number and security code are never stored on our website. The payment gateway gives this sensitive information directly to the payment processor. We designed our payment gateway to ensure credit card data never enters or passes through our website’s database.
We store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.
- Comments and reviews
We will also store comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

We only share information with third parties who help us provide our services to you.
- Payments
We accept and process payments through Stripe. When processing payments, some of your data will be shared, including necessary information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

If you relay information to us using a contact form, we will use the information you provide to respond to your request. We will not share this information unless it is directly related to responding to your request.

Articles or products on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

- California Online Privacy Protection Act
CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. - Users can visit our site anonymously
This privacy policy is available at a minimum, on the first significant page after entering our website, and as policy on every page on our website. Our Privacy Policy link includes the word ‘Privacy’, and can be easily be found on our website and in searches. Users will be notified of any privacy policy changes though subscribed email addresses and on our website.
Unless you indicate otherwise in your notice, we shall respond to your notice using your last-used billing address or the billing and/or shipping address in your online profile.
In the event that we are unable to resolve the dispute with you, both agree the parties shall resolve their dispute utilizing binding arbitration. Arbitration shall proceed solely on an individual basis without the right for any claims to be arbitrated on a class action basis. You hereby waive your right to a class action lawsuit.
Users are able to change their personal information by emailing us, or by logging into their account.
- How do we handle do not track signals?
We don’t honor do not track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place. We don’t honor them because we don’t have a mechanism in place to use them.

- COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)
When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under 13, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, the nation’s consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children’s privacy and safety online.
We do not specifically market to children under 13. Our products are designed to be used by teachers in an educational classroom setting.

The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out tough penalties for violations.
We collect your email address in order to:
• Process orders and to send information and updates pertaining to orders
• Market to our mailing list or continue to send emails to our clients after the original transaction has occurred.
To be accordance with the CAN-SPAM Act we agree to:
• NOT use false, or misleading subjects or email addresses
• Identify the message as an advertisement in some reasonable way
• Include the physical address of our business or site headquarters
• Monitor third party email marketing services for compliance, if one is used.
• Honor opt-out/unsubscribe requests quickly
• Allow users to unsubscribe by using the link at the bottom of each email

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:
- Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent.
- Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.
- Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds, and support you.
- Moderators may have access to limited profile information, only as necessary to assist you with logging in to the site, approve or deny comments, reviews, or other content you publicly post.
No one can view your password (including you), however we can change/create a new password or have a new password generated and emailed to you.
- What data breach procedures we have in place
In the event of a data breach, we will notify any and all persons regarding what information was potentially exposed. We do not collect, maintain, or have access to any sensitive credit card or financial information from users.
